The BASIC NEEDS program.

The Basic Needs program gives clients the option to have volunteers deliver bags directly to the home.

* These programs are available only to those clients living with AIDS who meet income and other eligibility criteria.

The Basic Needs Program has always relied on the support of private organizations, businesses, churches, schools, and individuals. Over the years, government funding for these programs grew; recently however, while the number of clients accessing PCAF's services increases, government funding has been greatly reduced.

So, what can you do to support Pierce County AIDS Foundation in its effort to continue distribution of over 200 Food Bags and 100 Essential Needs Bags each month to people living with AIDS?

Help a person living with AIDS by making a contribution of basic necessities. Contact Jenny at the number below for a list of needed items.

If you prefer to make a cash donation, we will use it to purchase these items "at-cost." All donations are tax deductible. If you have questions about the Food Bag or Essential Needs Bank programs, contact Jenny at 383-2565.
