On the weekend of June 29-July 1, PCAF will be the beneficiary of the Best of Tacoma.  The Best of Tacoma is a special part of the Emerald Queen Casino’s Taste of Tacoma, presented by Verizon Wireless.

The Best of Tacoma includes six highly-rated restaurants in the Rose Gardens at Pt. Defiance Park.  Diners pay just $6 for a 14 inch plate and receive a sample of gourmet food from each restaurant. 

We are pleased to welcome back four of last year’s all-star restaurants.  The lineup includes:

Altezzo Ristorante, serving Tomato Panzanella Salad with Basil, beautiful summer tomatoes tossed with Italian bread, herbs and tangy garlic vinaigrette.

Luciano’s Waterfront Ristorante, cooking up something wonderful, yet to be determined.

Southern Kitchen, topping off your meal in style with an encore performance of its famous Peach Cobbler.

Harmon Pub & Brewery's selection will be posted here soon. Guaranteed great.

Doo Drop Inn, presenting delicious Cajun Catfish served with an order of red beans and rice.
Luciano's Waterfront Ristorante, grilling up Spring Vegetable Kabobs with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and zucchini squash, served with a Rustic Campagnola sauce

Enjoy all the Taste of Tacoma has to offer, but save room for The Best.  Join us in the beautiful Rose Gardens for a relaxing environment and a real treat for your palette.  The Rose Gardens are at the opposite end of the park from the main entrance.  Look for signs or follow the map.  Your taste buds will thank you.

The Taste of Tacoma is Pierce County’s largest outdoor food & entertainment festival.  In addition to a wide array of great local restaurants and food product companies, the event boasts two stages with live entertainment, a comedy club, carnival rides, a beer garden, arts & crafts booths, a Kids Art Festival and Fun Zone and more.  Hours are 11 am to 9 pm on Friday & Saturday, 11 am to 8 pm Sunday.  Admission to the Taste is free.
