URGENT:
If you take Combivir, READ THIS!

Earlier this week GlaxoSmithKline, the manufacturer of Combivir reported that some ( 4 reported ) bottles labeled Combivir actually contain a different medication (Ziagen).  They are unsure if there are other bottles that are incorrectly labeled but have been notifying pharmacies that there could be other bottles.

What should you do if you are currently taking Combivir?

· Examine your Combivir medication.  Combivir is a white capsule-shaped tablet with "GX-FC3" engraved on one side.
· If your Combivir does not match this description, call your pharmacist.
· When you get your next Combivir fill, open it with your pharmacist to make sure you have the correct medication.

Where can you get more information?

· You may call the maker of Combivir, GlaxoSmithKline, at 1-888-825-5249.
