Mpowerment Tacoma is a program that seeks to create a
dynamic, fun, and connected community for gay and bisexual men ages 25+. Based upon a model HIV prevention program that has been
created specifically to address the needs of gay and bisexual men, Mpowerment
strengthens interpersonal networks, builds a healthy community and promotes
lasting changes in behavior. All Mpowerment activities are planned and
organized by a core group of volunteers and are designed to be social,

The LGBTQ Community Rainbow AwardsThe LGBTQ Community Rainbow Awards are held as part of Tacoma’s Pride Week. They honor individuals and organizations whose efforts have had a positive effect on the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied community of Pierce County.
